Noel Gallagher`s Canadian attacker has been sentenced
Daniel Sullivan broke three of the `Falling Down` rocker`s ribs when he jumped into him from behind as his now-defuct group played in Toronto, Canada in 2008.
The band were forced to cancel performances in Paris and New York as Noel - who described the incident as feeling like being "hit by a bus" - partially recovered.
However in his victim statement, Noel said: "I have been told that I will never really recover from the damage to my ribs. From time to time I still feel painful twinges.
"The promotional work in connection with the launch of the new album was very important to its success and early sales momentum. This opportunity was lost."
Daniel, 48, later pleaded causing bodily harm to the guitarist, adding he was "profoundly sorry" for his actions. He added that he was drunk at the show and couldn`t remember how he had got backstage.
The terms of the house arrest allow Daniel to still go to work, but he still faces a $2 million civil lawsuit, filed by Noel.
Oasis disbanded later in 2009 after a fallout between Noel and his lead singer brother Liam.
